For Hair salons businesses

Every booking answered while your hands are in someone's hair

Perbene answers the calls, texts and WhatsApp messages that come in while you're with a client, books them into your calendar, sends the reminders and writes to regulars when they are due for their next cut, once you approve the message. In English and French.

Where work gets lost

The challenges Hair salons businesses face

The expensive moments are usually ordinary: a ringing phone, an unfinished follow-up, an emergency that reaches the wrong person.

01

The phone rings mid-colour

You're foiling, cutting or blow-drying. The phone rings, a text comes in, a WhatsApp message waits. By the time you check, the client has booked somewhere else.

02

Regulars who drift away

A client used to come every six weeks. Then it was ten, then nothing. Nobody had time to send a note, and the chair stays empty.

03

No-shows on long appointments

A three-hour colour booking doesn't show up. That's an afternoon gone, with no time to fill it.

A day with Perbene

How Hair salons businesses use Perbene

Handled / 01

A Saturday cut on WhatsApp

A client writes on WhatsApp at noon. Perbene offers the free Saturday times, books 11 o'clock, and sends a reminder on Friday.

Handled / 02

A full colour with a deposit

A new client calls for a three-hour colour. Perbene books the afternoon and texts a deposit link. The time is held once it's paid.

Handled / 03

A regular who is due

Seven weeks after his last cut, a regular gets your message. He answers, and Perbene books him Thursday after work.

Handled / 04

A Google review

A client leaves five stars after her colour. Perbene thanks her in your voice, and the review can become a post on your social pages.

How it works

What happens when a client texts for Saturday

The same steps run on a call, a text, a WhatsApp message or a web chat, while you keep working.

01

The request gets an answer right away

Perbene answers in your salon's name, on the channel the client used, in English or French. No waiting until you're between clients.

02

It books the right length of time

A cut is 45 minutes, a full colour is three hours. Perbene knows each service's length from your profile, reads your calendar and offers only times that really fit.

03

It holds long appointments with a deposit

For the services you choose, the client pays a deposit online to hold the time. If it isn't paid, the time is released. If they cancel early, it's refunded.

04

It reminds them, and invites them back

The client gets a confirmation and a reminder before the visit. When they're due again, they get the message you approved, and Perbene books them from the reply.

Why salons miss bookings when they're busiest

A salon earns its money with its hands busy, and that's exactly when clients call, text and write to book. A request that waits until you're between clients is a request that might go to the salon down the street.

The requests also come in everywhere at once: a call at 10, a text at 11, a WhatsApp message at noon, a message on your website at 2. Keeping them straight, and remembering who wanted which time, takes the evening.

Perbene answers every one of them as it arrives, books it into your calendar and keeps one history per client, so the client who texted on Monday and called on Wednesday is the same person to you.

Regulars, and the six weeks between two cuts

Your best clients are the ones who already love you. Most of them don't leave on purpose. They just forget to rebook, and six weeks turns into three months.

You set how often each service comes back, for example a cut every six weeks or a colour every eight. Each day, Perbene writes to the clients who are due, with the message you approved. It skips anyone who already has an appointment, anyone who heard from you in the last 60 days and anyone on your do-not-contact list.

When a client answers, Perbene offers your free times and books the one they pick. A second rule can reach clients who cancelled and never rebooked, with its own approved message.

Deposits, reminders and your Google reviews

A no-show on a long colour appointment costs you an afternoon. For the services you choose, Perbene can ask for a deposit paid online through your own Stripe account. The time is held until it's paid and released if it isn't, and a client who cancels early gets it back.

Every appointment gets a confirmation when it's booked and a reminder before it starts. A client who needs to move an appointment can call or text any time, and Perbene moves it to another free time.

Google reviews are your shop window. Perbene answers each one in your voice, thanks the happy clients, and brings the unhappy ones to you before anything is posted. When you turn it on, a good review becomes a post on your social pages, which you can edit or cancel before it goes out.

Clients can also book themselves on your salon's own page on perbene.ai, which shows your services, prices, hours and reviews, and books straight into the same calendar.

Setting Perbene up for your salon

Setup starts with your website or your booking page. Perbene reads it and drafts your profile: your services and how long each one takes, your prices, your hours and your policies on deposits and late arrivals. You fix what's wrong, in plain words.

Then you connect your calendar so Perbene only offers times that are really free, and choose the number clients reach: the one you already have, forwarded, or a new one. WhatsApp connects to your salon's number in the same place.

You decide what Perbene does on its own. Answering and booking can run by themselves from the first day, while messages to past clients wait for your approval. Each morning, you get one page on yesterday: who booked, who moved, which review came in.

When your prices or hours change, you change them in the profile and Perbene uses the new version on the next request. A new stylist, a holiday closure or a summer price takes a minute to write down.

Questions from salons

Does Perbene answer WhatsApp?

Yes. Connect your salon's WhatsApp number and Perbene answers messages there like any other channel, books from them and keeps them in the client's history.

Does it know a colour takes longer than a cut?

Yes. Each service in your profile has its own length, and Perbene only offers times where the whole appointment fits.

How do deposits work?

For the services you choose, the client pays a deposit online through your own Stripe account. The time is held until it's paid, released if it isn't, and refunded if the client cancels early enough.

How does it know when a regular is due?

You set how often each service comes back. Perbene looks at each client's last visit and writes to the ones who are due, with the message you approved. Nothing goes out before you approve it.

Can clients still book online by themselves?

Yes. Your booking page keeps working, and those appointments show up in the same calendar. Only appointments Perbene books count toward the $8 fee.

What does it cost?

$99 a month, plus $8 for each appointment Perbene books, and never more than $349 a month, in Canadian dollars. Appointments clients book themselves don't count.

Do I keep my number?

Yes. Forward the number your clients already call, or connect your own phone account. You can also take a new number from Perbene.

Is it in French?

Yes. Perbene answers each client in French or English, and switches when they do. Spanish works too.

How do I get started?

Start your 14-day free trial, no card needed to start. Perbene reads your website to draft your profile, you correct it, connect your calendar and choose your number. You can also try the demo first at perbene.ai/demo.
